CATALOGUE NOTES

Pair of verte-imari goblets, after an early 18th century European glass form, with conical howl and short pedestal, painted with two colorful flowerhead between various blooming vines with red flowers, blue branches and green leaves. All beneath a red and blue patterned crosshatch border. Similar example: sold in Christie's NY 1/22/02 Lot 114 from the Benjamin F. Edwards III Collection.
