CATALOGUE NOTES

A famille verte bowl and cover decorated on the exterior with three cranes in flight carrying sticks in their bills, divided by clusters of peaches and flowers, below a green key-fret band at the steeped rim, the interior with a single peach spray and the base with an apocryphal Chenghua six-character mark within a double circle. The cover is similarly enameled with cranes and fruiting clusters, surmounted by a circular finial enclosing a shou symbol.
