CATALOGUE NOTES

Pair of dehua porcelain roosters, posed standing upon a rocky base with head held up toward the viewer. Finely detailed with incised designs in imitation of feathers; the beaks, held slightly agape with tongue visible. Glazed overall in a fine opaque glaze displaying the fine whiteness of the blanc de chine paste.
