CATALOGUE NOTES
Of broad rounded form with expanding sides and sitting upon a pedestal foot with recessed underfoot, decorated along the exterior with hexafoil reserves decorated with arrangements of birds, flowers and rockeries, set upon a famille noire ground filled with additional flowers and tendrils; with trefoil border below the rim, the interior with
a large central reserve of a tiger and other animals in an outdoor setting, and a narrow band at the lip with additional birds, plants, and rockery, the underfoot bears a leaf mark set within double rings, all in underglaze blue.
