CATALOGUE NOTES

Famille verte porcelain rouleau vase, of fine form with ribbed cylindrical neck with upturned lips, slightly sloping shoulder, and broad cylindrical body resting upon a short pedestal foot with recessed underfoot. Decorated with two large rectangular panels filled with flowers and rockery set upon a red flowerhead and tendril ground. With additional smaller pomegranate and leaf shaped reserves filled with additional floral designs and carp and seaweed; the shoulder with ovular reserves filled with butterflies set upon a flower-strewn seeded green ground; the neck decorated with phoenix medallions. The underfoot is glazed white.
