CATALOGUE NOTES

Pair of famille verte and caf‚ au lait cups and saucers. The saucers, decorated in famille verte with a lotus pond, with swimming carp beneath the water, and a songbird perched on a reed. The reverse, with flowering sprigs painted on a cafe au lait ground. The cups are similarly decorated inside and out, with exterior decoration painted in famille verte upon a caf‚ au alit ground. The underfoot of each saucer bears a chop mark. The underfoot of each cup bears an apocryphal mark of a rabbit.
