    CATALOGUE NOTES

    Pair of wucai beaker shaped vases, both decorated overall with large flowers and leafy tendrils finely and beautifully painted in bright and vibrant glaze enamels of underglaze blue, green, rouge de fer, yellow, and aubergine. At the base of the neck is a narrow chevron border drawn in rouge de fer, which separates the design of the neck from that of the body. The underfoot of each is glazed white.
