    CATALOGUE NOTES

    A famille verte hexagonal ewer and cover. The body is decorated and modeled as trunks of bamboo in dark green, aubergine, light green and yellow glazes heightened with black enamel, beneath six panels of flowering plants and a bamboo form spout. The everted foliated rim is decorated with panels of flowers beneath a chrysanthemum molded flower head and prunus finial on the cover. All on a hexagonal foot rim with scrolls beneath a molded lotus leaf band above the foot.
