    CATALOGUE NOTES

    A famille verte brush pot bitong, painted with a thrush perched on rockwork beside flowering lily, aster, pink, peony and hibiscus. The reverse with a butterfly amongst three other insects in flight above leaf sprays. The base with a glazed central recess and a broad unglazed band with traces of Chinese calligraphy in black ink.
