    CATALOGUE NOTES

    A pair of famille verte square baluster vases with flared necks and pyramid shape bases, each facet painted with flowering chrysanthemum plants alternating with flowering peony, all emerging from the rockwork. The sloped shoulder contains flowering camellia and foliage reserved on a seed green ground. The neck depicts flowering aster and bamboo alternating with peony and bamboo. Each facet  contains a seal and half leaf. The base depicts prunus blossom on a square green and aubergine diaper ground.
