Pair of famille verte chargers, each with a deep cavetto decorated with lustrous famille verte enamels depicting vividly painted Taoist deities riding around the rim on lively animals, both mythical and real while Xi Wan Mu occupies the center area riding on her crane. The reverse side of each with four flowering branches, the base undecorated and the foot rim unglazed for firing.
