CATALOGUE NOTES

The box, formed as an artemesia leaf, opens by way of

a hinged sliding flat cover surmounted by an aubergine seated Buddhist lion in an animated pose looking to the side. The sides are decorated AND the lion is adorned with green strands of hair, his head applied with green and yellow curls.
