CATALOGUE NOTES

An unusual famille verte hexagonal lantern and stand, each facet of the lantern with an openwork panel surrounded by butterflies and flowers reserved on a stippled green ground, the top with an openwork medallion within a field of prunus and cracked ice pattern, the top of the separate stand channeled to hold the cover and the apron painted in black and mauve in imitation of wood grain.
