CATALOGUE NOTES

A pair of blue and white open-work bowls, each double-walled bowl pierced with three large mons containing swastikas surrounded by a honeycomb ground, through which can be seen the inner bowl decorated all around with blue-painted flowering plants. The exterior rim is bordered with a whorl band. The interior of each bowl is decorated with a central roundel containing a similar flowering plant. The interior rim has four flower-filled reserves on a trellis ground. The bases painted with a fungus and ribbon within a double circle.
