CATALOGUE NOTES

A pair of ewers and covers of cylindrical form, the body with two horizontal ribs simulating bamboo painted in iron red and gilt with three bands enclosing flowers from the top including flowering chrysanthemum and peony branches, the center with flowering lotus, the lower section with branches of camellia and prunus, the lobed helmet shape mouth with band of ruyi heads.
