    CATALOGUE NOTES

    A pair of small bowls, standing on a cylindrical footring and decorated in the famille verte palette. The bowls are decorated on the exterior with squirrels amongst grape vines, one squirrel in full view from the side and the other from behind. The reverse is enriched with the Hongzhi six character mark in underglaze blue within a double blue circle.
