    CATALOGUE NOTES

    A very fine and rare famille verte circular bowl, painted on the exterior with two groups of four of the eight horses of Wang Mu in various poses and palettes separated by two scenes of willow and prunus, all below a narrow band of flowers and scrolling foliage, the well of the interior with a single iron-red peony flowerhead, the rim washed brown.
