CATALOGUE NOTES

Blue and white pear shaped vase with strongly everted rim and supported on a short, spreading foot. It is decorated with three large kylins, all in ferocious poses. They appear to stand on three legs, their bodies colored with washes and the hairs, spots and scales picked out with stronger dashes and dots.
