CATALOGUE NOTES

A rare imari muffin dish and cover, the octagonal cover

and interior similarly decorated with circular and ruyi head-shaped reserves of fruit and landscapes around a central medallion containing a vase of flowers on a terrace, all

on a floral ground, the handle a simple loop. The everted foliate dish rim with scrolling aster flowers and foliage.
